Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Assessment

Philosophy and Approach

We believe in a strengths-based, developmentally appropriate sequence of professional development and training that incorporates individual and group data as well as intercultural theory so that tangible and practical training activities support increasing cultural awareness and centering equity goals for your school or organization. We leverage a theory-based assessment that meets rigorous scientific criteria for a valid psychometric instrument to measure cognitive structure rather than attitudes, making the IDI assessment data less susceptible to situational factors, more stable and more generalizable than other instruments commonly used.
